Peanut Fudge

One of the most delicious desserts in the Portuguese cuisine is definitely the Peanut Fudge. This recipe is a mixture of many tasty ingredients like milk, peanut butter, pecans and vanilla that will make to eat it an unforgettable experience.

Peanut Fudge
  • 1 cup of milk.
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter.
  • 1 cup pecans.
  • 1/2 cup sugar.
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla.
  • 3 tbsp light corn syrup.


  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat.
  • Add sugar and milk.
  • Boil the mixture for two hours.
  • Add the peanut butter and vanilla seeds.
  • In a clean recipient mix the sugar and the peanut butter.
  • Beat the mixture until it has a good appearance.
  • Place the mixture into a 20cm/8in square baking tray; following place it in the fridge.
  • Cut and serve.
